March 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against J.M. Smucker Company for allegedly deceptively advertising its Creamy Supreme® Milk Chocolate Frosting. According to the complaint, the marketing misrepresents that the frosting contains milk when it actually does not. In addition, the complaint claims that the company fails to disclose that the frosting is artificially flavored, as required by law. (Ocasio et al v. The J.M.
