In September 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Nestlé USA, Inc. for allegedly misleadingly marketing that the flavor in its Coffee Mate Natural Bliss dairy creamer comes from vanilla when, according to the complaint, the ingredients list shows that the creamer contains “Natural Flavor” and no vanilla ingredient. (Carter et al v. Nestlé USA, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-7498, S.D.N.Y.)
