November 2016: After being consolidated with Clay v. Chobani, this action was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal were not disclosed.
June 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Chobani alleging that the company misleadingly advertises its Greek yogurt. Among other things, the complaint alleges that the company misleadingly markets yogurt as “Greek” when the yogurt sold in the U.S. is not actually made in Greece or made by Greek nationals. In addition, plaintiffs claim that the company misleadingly represents that the yogurt contains “evaporated cane juice” when they actually contain sugar. (Stoltz et al v. Chobani LLC, Chobani Holdings LLC, Chobani Global Holdings LLC, Chobani International LLC, Chobani Idaho LLC formerly known as Chobani, Inc. formerly known as Agro-Farma, Inc., Case No. 14-cv-3827, E.
