Cheerios “Gluten-Free” Claims

January 2017: The parties in the Haddix case notified the Court that the claims have been resolved and they intend to file a Stipulation for Dismissal once the settlement agreement is complete.

April 2016: The named plaintiff in Longo voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal have not yet been disclosed.

Late 2015: Three class-action lawsuits were filed against General Mills (two in October 2015 and one in December 2015) for allegedly falsely labeling Cheerios and Cheerios Honey Nut Cereals as “Gluten Free” when the cereals actually contain gluten.
