March 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Campbell Soup Co. for allegedly falsely marketing that Home Style Soups and Slow Kettle Soups are made with no preservatives or artificial flavors when, according to plaintiffs, the soups contain both preservatives and artificial flavors. (Vanlaningham et al v. Campbell Soup Co., Case No. 20-L-0189, Illinois State Court – St. Clair)
