September 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against The Hershey Company for allegedly deceptively packaging varieties of Hershey’s Kisses in the same size bag when they actually contain different amounts of chocolate. According to the complaint, the bag of Milk Chocolate Kisses has 12 ounces of chocolate while the bag of Milk Chocolate with Almonds Kisses has 11 ounces and the bag of Cookies ‘N’ Crème Kisses has 10.5 ounces.
