Mortgage scam that targets new homeowners shows no signs of abating.
A TINA.org reader recently wrote that she was enticed to open an email from online retailer Lillian Vernon whose subject line read: “Shop & save 65% on everything!” But much to our reader’s disappointment, “everything” turned out to be nothing at Lillian Vernon. Rather, the 65 percent savings related to a personalized print from Lillian Vernon’s sister company, YouFrame USA. The body of the email (see below) linked to the YouFrame USA website:
“I find the communication to be very misleading and wanted to share,” the reader wrote in an email to TINA.org.
