Allegations: Falsely marketing the ingredients in and benefits of fruit snacks
A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against YummyEarth for allegedly misleadingly representing that YumEarth Organics Vitamin C Pops as containing “evaporated cane juice” when, according to the complaint, they contain sugar. The lawsuit was originally filed in state court in July 2017 and transferred to federal court in September 2017. (Sandoval et al v YummyEarth Inc., Case No. 17-cv-1832, C. D. CA.)
