January 2016: This action was dismissed. The named plaintiff’s claims were dismissed When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled. while class members’ claims were dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal were not disclosed.

October 2015:
A class-action lawsuit was filed against Mann+Hummel Purolator Filters, LLC for allegedly misrepresenting that one of its oil filters (Model #L36165) was safe and compatible with a 2014 Volkswagen Routan when it actually was not. (Hockman et al v. Mann+Hummel Purolator Filters, LLC, ABC Corps. 1-3, and John Does 1-3, Case No. 15-cv-2899, S. D. OH.)
