In July 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against FCA US LLC for allegedly misleadingly marketing the UConnect infotainment system in Chrysler vehicles as safe when, according to plaintiffs, several of the system’s safety-related features – including the screen, backup camera, and navigation system – freeze and lose functionality due to a defect. (Pistorio et al v. FCA US LLC, Case No. 20-cv-11838, E.D. Mich.)
