March 2018: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Physician Laboratories and several retailers for allegedly marketing Sebamed skincare products as having a pH balance of 5.5 when, according to the complaint, the actual pH levels of the products ranges from 5.63 to 6.27.
