February 2016: This action was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled.. The reasons have not been disclosed.

March 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Starbucks for allegedly misleadingly using You know when you buy a big bag of chips, and you’re all psyched for a feast, and then it turns out there are like, three chips in the bag? That bag is slack filled.ed packaging. Specifically, plaintiffs claim that the company covers a portion of the bottle with a non-transparent label to make consumers think they are buying more than they actually are. (Lee et al v. Starbucks Corp. d/b/a Starbucks Coffee Company, Case No. 15-cv-01634, E. D. NY.)
