August 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Hartford Underwriters Insurance Company for allegedly falsely advertising that the monthly premium for its automobile insurance policies would be a specific price per month when, according to plaintiffs, the insurance company does not disclose that it increases the amount of monthly premiums to double the advertised price.
