August 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Swisher International and Plaid Pantry for allegedly misleadingly advertising that consumers who buy packages of cigarillos get “5 for the price of 3” when, according to the complaint, consumers could purchase three individual cigarillos for less than the price of the five-pack.
