In April 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed alleging that the advertising for Hulu misleadingly represents that subscribers can stream the same high-quality videos on their computers as they can while using Hulu’s applications when, according to plaintiffs, videos streamed on computers are actually lower quality videos than those accessed using Hulu’s applications.
