A class-action lawsuit was filed in 2017 alleging, among other things, that certain nursing homes in Arkansas – including Eaglecrest Nursing and Rehab, Gosnell Therapy and Living, Lakeside Nursing Center, and Westwood Health and Rehab – fail to provide numerous required and promised services. The complaint, which was originally filed in July 2017 and amended in November, was transferred to federal court in December 2017. (Jeffus et al v. Ovation Health Systems, Inc. et al, Case No. 17-cv-1072, W.D. Ark.)
