September 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Sara Lee Frozen Bakery for allegedly misleadingly marketing its All Butter Pound Cake to make consumers think butter is the only shortening ingredient in the cake when, according to the complaint, the ingredients list reveals that the cake also contains soybean oil. Plaintiffs also claim that the cake contains a coloring ingredient (annatto) to make consumers think the cake contains more butter than it actually does. (Briley et al. v.
