TINA.org Brings Walmart’s Deceptive Made in USA Claims to the FTC, Again
Walmart attempts to redefine what it legally means to be “made” in the USA.
November 2014: This case was dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled. because the parties reached a settlement agreement. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed.
2013: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Redbox and Verizon (and later amended in 2014) for allegedly misrepresenting that their DVDs and video streaming videos have closed captioning and/or English subtitles when, according to plaintiffs, they do not. (Jancik et al v. Redbox Automated Retail, LLC; Verizon and Redbox Digital Entertainment Services, LLC; and Does 1-10, Case No. 13-cv-01387, C. D. CA.).
