Rates from Agway Energy Services
In March 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Agway Energy Services for allegedly deceptively luring consumers to switch energy suppliers by promising them low teaser rates followed by variable rates based on market-related factors when, according to the plaintiffs, the rates charged after the teaser rate are inflated and not based on market-related factors. (Brown et al v. Agway Energy Services, LLC, Case No. 18-cv-321, W.D. Penn.)
