February 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Nestle Purina PetCare Company for allegedly misleadingly marketing Beneful dog food – including Beneful Healthy Growth for Puppies, Beneful Healthy Radiance, Beneful Healthy Fiesta, and Beneful Playful Life – as healthy and nutritious for dogs when, in reality, it contains dangerous ingredients and many dogs suffered serious injury and death after eating it.
