August 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Primitive Survivors for allegedly failing to disclose that consumers who respond to “risk-free” or “free” offers – such as offers for a free headlamp for completing an online survey – will be automatically enrolled in the continuous service subscription program Survivors Club resulting in consumers being charged without their consent. (Siela et al v. Superior Global Marketing Inc. d/b/a Primitive Survivors, Case No. 37-2019-00040992, California State Court – San Diego)
