Complaint alleges IML was a $1.2 billion scam.
In July 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against PNY Technologies for allegedly falsely advertising that the mAh of its power banks (portable chargers that are used to charge electronic devices) is higher than it actually is. For example, the complaint alleges that the company represents that the mAh of its PowerPack 5200 is 5200 when, according to the plaintiffs, testing shows that the actual mAh is approximately 3500. (Geske et al v. PNY Technologies, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-5170, N.D. Ill.)
