March 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Point Blank Enterprises for allegedly misleadingly marketing bullet proof vests made using the company’s proprietary “Self-Suspending Ballistic System” as being “highly effective” and providing “optimal protective coverage” for a minimum of five years when, according to plaintiffs, the vests have a defect that causes them to fall apart before the end of five years. (Porras et al v. Point Blank Enterprises, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-1542, C.D. Cal.)
