Complaint alleges gym chain puts up roadblocks to cancellation.
A class-action lawsuit was filed against Amplify Snack Brands for allegedly misleadingly listing evaporated cane juice as an ingredient in Paqui Tortilla Chips – including the Roasted Jalapeño and Grilled Habanero flavors – when the ingredient is actually sugar. The lawsuit was originally filed in state court in January 2017 and transferred to federal court in March 2017. (Morrison et al v. Amplify Snack Brands, Inc., Case No. 17-cv-816, E. D. MO.)
