August 2013: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Country Life, LLC and was removed to federal court in September 2013 for allegedly deceptively advertising its dietary supplement Omega 3 Mood. Specifically, the complaint alleges that Country Life promotes Omega 3 Mood as supporting brain health, emotional health, and mood without having any clinical studies or medically-accepted evidence to support such claims.
