October 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Smucker Natural Foods for allegedly misleadingly labeling Natural Brew Draft Root Beer as “made from all natural ingredients” and containing “no artificial colors, flavors, or additives, ever” when the root beer actually contains artificial ingredients, such as caramel color (an artificial color additive) and phosphoric acid (an artificial flavor and chemical preservative).
