In May 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against the sellers of a Medicare supplement program called My Senior Healthcare Partners for allegedly falsely representing to the elderly that the program provides air ambulance transportation from the Medical Air Services Association (MASA) and that policy holders can name a beneficiary to inherit the benefits when, according to the plaintiffs, the program does not include any MASA benefits and the benefits are not capable of being inherited.
