In November 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against McDonald’s for allegedly deceptively advertising that the chicken in various sandwiches, salads, and wraps is “100% Chicken Breast” when, according to plaintiffs, the chicken includes rib meat. (Yip et al v. McDonald’s Corp. d/b/a McDonald’s and McDonald’s USA., LLC d/b/a McDonald’s, Case No. 17-cv-6464, E. D. NY.)
