McDonald’s All-Day Breakfast (Part II)

No one likes to settle for something they don’t want, not even “The Great Compromiser” Senator Henry Clay. But that’s exactly what a Georgia woman said she had to do when she went to McDonald’s with a receipt advertising a BOGO offer for two Egg McMuffins. Instead of getting the Egg McMuffins, she had to settle for two sausage and egg biscuits, for which she was charged and paid full price, she said.

The receipt did not disclose that the offer was only available during normal breakfast hours and that Georgia’s all-day breakfast menu does not include Egg McMuffins (depending on where you live in the country, you’re either in a biscuit or McMuffin region; a handful of southern states minus Florida and Texas make up the biscuit region).

McDonald’s did not respond to a TINA.org request for comment.
