July 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against R.C. Bigelow, Inc. for allegedly falsely advertising that several of its teas – including Earl Grey Black Tea, English Teatime Black Tea, Green Tea with Ginger, and Vanilla Chai Black Tea – are “manufactured in the USA” when, according to plaintiffs, the tea in the products was not grown or processed in the United States.
