In September 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Sally Beauty Supply for allegedly misleadingly advertising a “Liter Sale,” suggesting that all the products included in the sale would be on one-liter hair products, when, according to plaintiffs, many of the products included in the sale were less than one liter. (Goldstein et al v. Sally Beauty Supply LLC, Case No. 20-cv-4583, E.D.N.Y.)
