In August 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Lifefactory, Inc. for allegedly falsely marketing Lifefactory™ silicone teethers as being “bpa-free” when, according to plaintiffs, the teethers contain BPA (a toxic synthetic compound used in plastics).
