January 2015: This action was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled., the reasons for which have not been disclosed.

December 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against LesserEvil for allegedly misleadingly representing that chia seeds are the primary ingredient in its Chia Crisps – including the Feta and Black Olive, Crunchy Dill Pickle, Jalapeno White Cheddar, and Southern Barbeque flavors – when the primary ingredient is actually black beans. (Crane et al v. LesserEvil, LLC, Case No. 14-cv-62854, S. D. FL.).
