Allegations: Misleadingly advertising discounts off of artificially inflated reference prices
January 2016: This action was dismissed When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled.. Among other things, the judge found that plaintiffs failed to state a claim upon which relief can be based and did not adequately allege that he actually relied on any representation by Lenovo and that relying on them was reasonable. February 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Lenovo for allegedly falsely representing that its Yoga 2 Pro laptop’s battery would last “up to 9 hours” with a full charge when, in reality, the fully-charged battery generally only lasts four to six hours. (Medeiros et al v. Lenovo (United States), Inc., Case No. 15-cv-10261, D. MA.).
