August/September 2014: Plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed this lawsuit When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal have not been disclosed.

April 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Estee Lauder alleging that the company misleadingly markets products in its LAB Series skincare for men collection. Among other things, plaintiffs claim that the company represents that products – including MAX LS Instant Eye Lift and MAX LS Age-Less Face Cream – will prevent and repair the signs of aging when, in reality, the ingredients in the products cannot provide the promised results. (Manouchehri et al v. The Estee Lauder Companies Inc. and Aramis Inc., Case No. 14-cv-01064, S. D. CA.).
