April 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Kraft Heinz Foods Company for allegedly misleadingly marketing 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese and 100% Parmesan & Romano Cheese as containing 100% cheese when, according to plaintiffs, they actually contain cellulose, a filler derived from wood pulp. (Ford et al v. Kraft Heinz Foods Company, Case No. 16-cv-398, W. D. PA.)
