In April 2016, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Kidfresh for allegedly marketing its line of frozen food products – including Kidfresh Wagon Wheels Mac + Cheese, Kidfresh Muy Cheesy Quesadillas, Kidfresh Super Duper Chicken Nuggets, and Kidfresh Mamma Mia Cheesy Pizza – as healthy when, in reality, the products are high in fat and “classic junk foods that are actually unhealthy.” (Burke et al v.
