In November 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against the dating service It’s Just Lunch International for allegedly misleadingly claiming that the company makes matches using “6 easy steps” and “regular interaction and communication” between matchmakers and members to provide “personalized hand-selected matches” when, according to plaintiffs, the company does not regularly communicate with members, chooses matches at random, and sometimes fails to provide any matches at all.
