In September 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against HomeAway (a website providing rental property listings) for allegedly deceptively advertising that it provides 24/7 customer service, for which it charges a service fee, when, according to plaintiffs, the website does not offer 24/7 customer service as advertised.
