2015: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Diageo-Guinness USA Inc. alleging that the company falsely markets Guinness® Extra Stout as having been brewed in Dublin, Ireland when it is actually brewed in and imported from Canada. The complaint was originally filed in 2015 and amended in 2016. (O’Hara et al v. Diageo-Guinness, USA, Inc. and Diageo North America, Inc., Case No. 15-cv-14139, D. Mass.)
