Fidelity’s Active Trader Pro Platform

In February 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Fidelity Global Brokerage Group for allegedly misleadingly marketing Fidelity’s Active Trader Pro platform used for securities transactions. Plaintiffs claim that the company misleadingly represents that the platform offers access to its “exclusive suite of sophisticated tools, services, and resources” and “cutting-edge desktop trading platforms” when, according to the complaint, the platform regularly suffers outages and service interruptions.
