In March 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Evenflo for allegedly misleadingly marketing Big Kid child booster seats as safe, reliable, and “side-impact tested” when, according to the complaint, testing shows that children in the seats during side-impact collisions have suffered serious injuries. (Talutto et al v. Evenflo Co., Inc., Case No. 20-cv-437, M.D. Fla.)
