In October 2013, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Ergo Baby Carrier Inc. alleging that the company misleadingly advertises the Ergo Baby’s Organic Baby Carrier as suitable for newborns when, in reality, the carrier cannot carry a baby who weighs less than 12 pounds without an additional insert.
