October 2018: A federal judge dismissed the injunctive relief and breach of warranty claims When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.. Other claims in the complaint will move forward. Plaintiffs have until November 5, 2018 to file an amended complaint.
May 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Easton Baseball/Softball, Inc. and Easton Diamond Sports, LLC for allegedly deceptively advertising the weight of youth baseball bats. Specifically, plaintiffs claim that many of the bats weigh more than advertised. (Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint in July 2018.) (Wisdom et al v. Easton Baseball/Software, Inc. and Easton Diamond Sports, LLC, Case No. 18-cv-4078, C.D. Cal.)
