In March 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Dynamic Pet Products and Frick’s Meat Products for allegedly marketing its Real Ham Bone For Dogs as an appropriate and safe chew toy for dogs when, according to plaintiffs, the bones are prone to splintering into shards and dogs can suffer serious injury and death as a result of chewing the toy.
