October 2015: The action was stayed pending approval of a nationwide settlement of another class-action lawsuit against the store.
May 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Tween Brands, Inc. for allegedly deceptively advertising discounts at Justice-brand stores. According to the complaint, the store advertises discounts without actually providing a discount to customers because the advertised regular prices are “fictional” and the store always sells products at the “discounted” price. (Gallagher et al v. Tween Brands, Inc., Case No. 15-cv-833, E. D. MO.)
