In November 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Flavor God for allegedly misleadingly advertising discounts on seasonings, flavored powders, meat rubs, and salts by offering specific percentage discounts off of fake reference prices that do not represent prices at which the products were previously sold or the prevailing market prices within the three months immediately before the advertised sale.
