Community Choice Credit Union

In July 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Community Choice Credit Union for allegedly misleadingly representing that it only charges overdraft fees on transactions that overdraw an account and only charges one insufficient funds fee on a single transaction when, according to the complaint, the credit union charges fees on transactions that do not overdraw an account and charges multiple fees on a single transaction. (Labadie et al v. Community Choice Credit Union, Case No. 20-cv-12064, E.D. Mich.)
