In November 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Coffee Meets Bagel (a dating service app that offers both a free membership and a paid, premium membership) alleging that the company violates Illinois state law by not including a three-day cancellation provision or providing refunds to consumers who cancel their premium subscription within three days of enrolling.
