In June 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Immaculate Baking Co. for allegedly deceptively using You know when you buy a big bag of chips, and you’re all psyched for a feast, and then it turns out there are like, three chips in the bag? That bag is slack filled.ed opaque containers for its Cake Scratch Mixes that have more than 50% empty space. (Reider et al v. Immaculate Baking Co., Case No. 18-cv-1085, C.D. Cal.)
